INTRODUCTION A growing number of drugs have reportedly been associated with delayed ventricular repolarization and a potentially fatal but rare arrhythmia, torsade de pointes (TdP). There is obviously a call for a validated proarrhythmia model that distinguishes proarrhythmic drugs from nonarrhythmogenic drugs.
