Software aging is a common phenomenon which is often manifested through system performance degradation. Rejuvenation is one of the most commonly used approaches to handle issues caused by software aging. To combat resource performance degradation and at the same time maintain maximized average resource performance, we present a two-level rejuvenation strategy, i.e., interleaving a set of n warm rejuvenations with one cold rejuvenation.
