Urodynamic examination yields invaluable information about lower urinary tract function in infants and children in the following clinical situations: Daytime urinary incontinence, suspected infravesical obstruction, overt or suspected neurogenic bladder dysfunction, vesico-ureteral reflux with upper tract dilatation and chronic or recurrent bacteriuria.
