We present a search for the Higgs boson in final states with a charged lepton (electron or muon), missing energy, and two or more jets corresponding to 9.7 fb of integrated luminosity collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron pp̄ collider. The search is sensitive to WH → lνbb̄, (gg, V V ) → H → WW → lνjj (where j = u, d, s or g) and V H → VWW → lνjjjj production (where V = W or Z). We observe good agreement between data and expected background. For MH = 125 GeV we set a 95% C.L. upper limit on the production of a standard model Higgs boson of 4.5×σSM , where σSM is the standard model cross section, while the expected limit is 4.1×σSM .
