Gauge unification in a five dimensional supersymmetric SO(10) model compactified on an orbifold S1/(Z2 ? Z2') is studied. One orbifolding reduces N = 2 supersymmetry to N = 1, and the other breaks SO(10) to the Pati-Salam gauge group SU(4)C ? SU(2)L ? SU(2)R. Further breaking to the standard model gauge group is made through the Higgs mechanism on one of the branes. The differences of the three gauge couplings run logarithmically even in five dimensions and we can keep the predictability for…

We analyze the gauge unification in minimal supersymmetric SO(10) grand unified theories in 5 dimensions. The single extra spatial dimension is compactified on the orbifold S1/(Z2 × Z2') reducing the…

We construct a five dimensional supersymmetric SO(10) × D3 grand unified model with an S1/(2 × '2) orbifold as the extra dimension. The orbifold breaks half of the supersymmetry and breaks the SO(10)…

We propose a realistic flipped SU(5) model derived from a five-dimensional orbifold SO(10) model. The Standard Model (SM) fermion masses and mixings are explained by combining the traditional…

After we study the 6-dimensional = (1,1) supersymmetry breaking and R symmetry breaking on M4 × T2/Zn, we construct two = (1,1) supersymmetric E6 models on M4 × T2/Z3 where E6 is broken down to…

We propose a minimal SO(10) model in 5 space-time dimensions. The single extra spatial dimension is compactified on the orbifold S^1/(Z_2 x Z_2') reducing the gauge group to that of Pati-Salam. The…
E6 GUT and Baryon Asymmetry Generation in the E6CHM

Grand unified theories (GUTs) may result in the E6-inspired composite Higgs model (E6CHM) at low energies, almost stabilizing the electroweak scale. We consider an orbifold GUT in 6 dimensions in…

A complete 5-dimensional SU(5) unified theory is constructed which, on compactification on the orbifold with two different Z{sub 2}'s (Z{sub 2} and Z{sub 2}{prime}), yields the minimal supersymmetric…

A fully realistic unified theory is constructed, with SU(5) gauge symmetry and supersymmetry both broken by boundary conditions in a fifth dimension. Despite the local explicit breaking of SU(5) at a…

We construct a realistic theory of grand unification in AdS_5 truncated by branes, in which the unified gauge symmetry is broken by boundary conditions and the electroweak scale is generated by the…
