Lauryl sulfate inhibits the Deltamu;(H)(+)-dependent reverse electron transfer reactions catalyzed by NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase (Complex I) in coupled bovine heart submitochondrial particles and in vesicles derived from Paracoccus denitrificans.
