Two hundred and four cases of unerupted maxillary anterior supernumerary teeth were found among Hong Kong school children between the ages of six to 9.5 years. The anomaly was prominent in the male with a sex ratio of 5.4:1. There was no significant difference in the distribution of unilateral and bilateral supernumerary teeth, between the two sexes.
