  • Andropogon virginicus, a grass of American origin (yet pretty widely naturalized out of its natural area) was discovered in 2006 on the military camp at Le Poteau (departments of the Landes and Gironde). The fortuitous introduction of the species is very likely linked to the storage of NATO ammunition in the camp.
