A new species of the genus Lasiommata (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae, Satyrinae) from North-West Pakistan Lasiommata ananda sp. nov. is described from the Chitral region (NW Pakistan). The female is unknown. The new species is compared with closely related species which are known from the same biotopes. The types of the new species, and the related species are illustrated in colour. The holotype ♂ of Lasiommata schakra aiyuna Talbot, 1947, is re-examined. It probably belongs to L. maerula C. & R…
