Some uncommon diseases may involve the central airways focally or diffusely. These include Wegener’s granulomatosis, relapsing polychondritis, tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica, amyloidosis, papillomatosis, rhinoscleroma, sarcoidosis and tuberculosis.
