The ultrastructure of the central nervous system of four species of the Geocentrophoragroup (Prorhynchida, Lecithoepitheliata) has been studied with Geocentrophora waginias a model organism. This is the first ultrastructural study of the nervous system in flatworms of the endemic Geocentrophoragroup from Lake Baikal.
