INTRODUCTION Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) has witnessed rapid advancements, the latest being ultra-mini-percutaneous nephrolithotomy (UMP), which makes the use of 11-13F sheaths as compared to 24-30F sizes used in conventional PCNL.
