We propose the design, simulation, and measurement of a broadband reflective metamaterial polarization rotator in the microwave region based on multiple plasmon resonances. An utra-thin wideband polarization conversion composing of arrays of oval ring pattern, a dielectric layer and a continuous metallic layer is further demonstrated both numerically and experimentally.
