Different types of rectal content in domiciliary populations of Triatoma infestans (Hemiptera: Reduviidae: Triatominae) were associated with differences in the degree of infection with Trypanosoma (Schizotrypanum) cruzi. Field studies were carried out in a region of Argentina (Cordoba) where Chagas' disease is endemic.
