Two types of K+ channels in the apical membrane of rabbit proximal tubule in primary culture.

Abstract

The patch-clamp technique was used to investigate ionic channels in the apical membrane of rabbit proximal tubule cells in primary culture. Cell-attached recordings revealed the presence of a highly selective K+ channel with a conductance of 130 pS. The channel activity was increased with membrane depolarization. Experiments performed on excised patches… (More)
