Two genera of deep water brachyuran crabs, Platypilumnus (Goneplacidae) and Trachycarcinus (Atelecylidae) are recorded from Taiwan for the first time. Platypi lumnus soelae Garth, 1987, is previously known only from northern Australia and southern Indonesia. Trachycarcinus elegans Guinot et Sakai, 1970, was previously re garded as a Japanese endemic.

Conleyus defodio, a new genus and new species of carcinoplacine crab (Crustacea: Brachyura: Goneplacidae) from deep rubble beds in Guam
A new genus and new species of carcinoplacine crab is described from the rubble beds of Guam. The external appearance of Conleyus defodio resembles members of Planopilumnus (Planopilumni- nae) but
Notes On Paratergatis Longimanus Sakai, 1965 (Decapoda, Brachyura, Xanthidae), a New Record for Taiwan
TLDR
Paratergatis longimanus is compared with the closely allied Pulcratis reticulatus from southern Taiwan, and some useful characters are figured, supplementing the otherwise excellent description by Sakai (1965), to formally record the species from Taiwan.

It’s time to get to grips with the concept of “bespoke” again.
Thirty years of changes in the decapod community from the deep-water fishing grounds off Kueishan Island, Taiwan
TLDR
The decapod community in the waters off Kueishan Island has a very high diversity, but the species composition is unstable over time and also changing with time, and it is hypothesized this likely is a succession process in response to the continuous disturbance from the trawl fisheries.
