Two new species of Eimeria Schneider, 1875, from emerald tree skinks, Lamprolepis smaragdina (Lesson) are described from specimens collected in Papua New Guinea (PNG) and the Philippines. Oöcysts of Eimerianuiailan n. sp. from the only L. smaragdina from PNG are ovoidal, with a smooth, colourless, bi-layered wall, measure 23.7 × 19.1 μm, and have a length/width (L/W) ratio of 1.3; both micropyle and oöcyst residuum are absent, but a fragmented polar granule is present. Sporocysts are ovoidal to…
A new species of Eimeria Schneider, 1875 (Apicomplexa: Eimeriidae) from the Solomon ground skink, Sphenomorphus solomonis (Boulenger) (Sauria: Scincidae) from Papua New Guinea
TLDR
This represents the first report of coccidia from this skink genus in Papua New Guinea and was found to be infected with a new species of Eimeria Schneider, 1875.

TLDR
To the knowledge, these represent the only coccidians ever described from P. stanleyanus and are described here as new.

Three new species of coccidia are described from Marble-throated skink Marmorosphax tricolor from New Caledonia, namely, Isospora bocagei sp. n., Acroeimeria rouxi sp. n., and Choleoeimeria sadlieri
New coccidia from Australian lizards. II. Eimeria
Five new species of Eimeria are described, viz. E. ablephari from Ablepharus boutonii (Scincidae), E. egerniae from Egernia whitii (Scincidae), E. gehyrae from Gehyra variegata (Gekkonidae), E.
A revision of the taxonomy and nomenclature of the Eimeria spp. (Apicomplexa: Eimeriidae) from rodents in the Tribe Marmotini (Sciuridae)
TLDR
The number of named eimerian species in the Marmotini is reduced from 40 to 26 valid species; the names of those species that were most similar are synonymised and the species for which the original descriptions were inadequate are considered to be species inquirendae.

TLDR
This represents the largest survey for Cryptosporidium in Pacific island lizards, and it is found that 2 new host and 2 new locality records for this parasite genus are recorded.

TLDR
Three hundred and three individuals representing 14 species of lizards (Scincidae), collected in Papua New Guinea, were examined for metazoan endoparasites and dozens of new host records and two new locality records are reported.
PARASITES IN A BIODIVERSITY HOTSPOT: A SURVEY OF HEMATOZOA AND A MOLECULAR PHYLOGENETIC ANALYSIS OF PLASMODIUM IN NEW GUINEA SKINKS
TLDR
Preliminary results suggest a high degree of phylogenetic diversity but a very low prevalence of Plasmodium spp.
Ecology, behavior and color variation of the green tree skink, Lamprolepis smaragdina (Lacertilia: Scincidae), in Micronesia
TLDR
The differences in color are interpreted to indicate a small initial settling population in the CNMI (founder effect), consistent with an anthro- pogenic origin for the population and with low dispersal ability for the species.
