Two new alkaloids moncaryopterine A and moncaryopterine B were isolated from the aerial parts of Caryopteris mongolica Bunge. by the column chromatography and HPLC methods. Molecular structures of them were elucidated by MS, 1 H, 13 C, HSQC, HMBC, 1 H/ 1 H COSY, and 1 H/ 1 H NOESY NMR methods.
