This talk presents some results relevant for lattice QCD at higher order in ChPT. First we discuss the finite volume corrections at two loops for the quark condensate as well as a Luscherlike finite volume formula for it. The latter allows for an alternative determination of meson sigma terms. The second set of results presented here are the calculations at two loops in partially quenched chiral perturbation theory of masses and decay constants of the charged mesons. We present results for all… Expand

The pion and proton mass in finite volume
• Physics

We calculate the finite volume effects for the pion and nucleon mass. For the pion mass we present the results of a full two-loop calculation in chiral perturbation theory. The outcome shows that theExpand
The pion mass in finite volume to two loops
We evaluate the pion mass in finite volume to two loops within Chiral Perturbation Theory. The results are compared with a recently proposed extension of the asymptotic formula of Luscher. We findExpand

The Lagrangian technique for chiral perturbation theory for quenched QCD is extended to include theories in which only some of the quarks are quenches, and the peculiar infrared divergences associated with the ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{'}}$ in the quencher approximation are investigated. Expand
