We consider a multi-component dark matter model where the dark sector contains a scalar doublet and a complex scalar singlet. We impose a discrete Z4 symmetry to ensure such that the lightest component of the doublet, Ã, and the singlet, S̃, are both stable. Interactions between the dark sectors impact significantly dark matter observables, they allow in particular to significantly relax the direct detection constraints on the model. To determine the parameter space that satisfies relic density… Expand

Electroweak Symmetry Breaking and WIMP-FIMP Dark Matter
Electroweak Symmetry Breaking (EWSB) is known to produce a massive universe that we live in. However, it also provides an important boundary for freeze-in or freeze-out of dark matter (DM) asExpand

A minimal model for two-component dark matter
A bstractWe propose and study a new minimal model for two-component dark matter. The model contains only three additional fields, one fermion and two scalars, all singlets under the Standard ModelExpand
Interplay of scalar and fermionic components in a multi-component dark matter scenario
We explore the multi-component dark matter (DM) scenario considered in a simple extension of the standard model with an inert scalar doublet and a singlet fermionic field providing the two DMExpand
Multi-Component Dark Matter
We explore multi-component dark matter models where the dark sector consists of multiple stable states with different mass scales, and dark forces coupling these states further enrich the dynamics.Expand
The Z5 model of two-component dark matter
Scenarios for multi-component scalar dark matter based on a single $Z_N$ ($N\geq 4$) symmetry are simple and well-motivated. In this paper we investigate, for the first time, the phenomenology of theExpand
Two-component dark matter
A bstractWe study an extension of the Standard Model (SM) with two interacting cold Dark Matter (DM) candidates: a neutral Majorana fermion (ν) and a neutral scalar singlet (φ). The scalar φExpand
Update on scalar singlet dark matter
One of the simplest models of dark matter is where a scalar singlet field S comprises some or all of the dark matter and interacts with the standard model through an vertical bar H vertical barExpand
Multi-component dark matter in a non-Abelian dark sector
In this paper, we explore a dark sector scenario with a gauged $SU(2)_R$ and a global $U(1)_X \times \mathbb{Z}_2$, where the continuous symmetries are spontaneously broken to a global $U(1)_D$. WeExpand
Multi-component dark matter: the vector and fermion case
Multi-component dark matter scenarios constitute natural extensions of standard single-component setups and offer attractive new dynamics that could be adopted to solve various puzzles of darkExpand
The inert doublet model in the light of Fermi-LAT gamma-ray data: a global fit analysis
We perform a global fit within the inert doublet model taking into account experimental observables from colliders, direct and indirect dark matter searches and theoretical constraints. InExpand
Gauge singlet scalar as inflaton and thermal relic dark matter
We show that, by adding a gauge singlet scalar S to the standard model which is nonminimally coupled to gravity, S can act both as the inflaton and as thermal relic dark matter. We obtain the allowedExpand
