This contribution has two parts. In the first part I will formulate two new principles for the applied ethics of advanced robotic systems, namely the principle of negative synthetic phenomenology (NSP) and the principle of veto autonomy (VA). The second part will further clarify and substantiate some of the technical concepts and theoretical background assumptions, which are necessary to formulate these principles.
