Two International Finance Centre (2IFC) is the tallest building in Hong Kong and 5 tallest in the world at 420m high. It is located on the harbour front of the Central District, the business centre of Hong Kong. This paper describes the some of the geotechnical design considerations, the structural design development and construction of the tower.
