A photograph of the dining room in James McNeill Whistler's house at 2 Lindsay Row, Chelsea, shows a large framed print of John Everett Millais 's painting, Waking (Grieve 219). Waking (Perth Museums and Art Gallery) is no. 101 in the catalogue to the recent exhibition, simply entitled Millais, under review here.
