Twelve years of B Teaching in an engineer school: from a correct by design approach to analysis techniques and tools

Abstract

Twelve years ago I introduced a B course at Ensimag, a wellknown french Mathematics and Computer Science engineer school. In this paper I describe this experiment and the evolution of the contents of this course. In particular I present a set of fundamental concepts that can be easily illustrated with the help of the B framework. I also present some unpublished examples and theoretical results.
