Starting from a mean-field model of the Bose-Einstein condensate dimer, we reintroduce classically forbidden tunneling through a Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization approach. We find closed-form approximations to the tunneling frequency more accurate than those previously obtained using different techniques. We discuss the central role that tunneling in the self-trapped regime plays in a quantitatively accurate model of a dissipative dimer leaking atoms to the environment. Finally, we describe the…
Out of equilibrium mean field dynamics in the transverse field Ising model
We investigate the quench dynamics of the transverse field Ising model on a finite fully connected lattice as a prime example of non-equilibrium mean field dynamics. Using a rate function approach we

Classical Bifurcation and Entanglement Generation in an Internal Bosonic Josephson Junction
In this work the dynamical behavior of an internal bosonic Josephson junction is investigated. The junction is realized using two Zeeman sub states of the ground state hyperfine manifold in a
Semiclassical Mechanics with Molecular Applications
TLDR
This chapter discusses Transformations in Classical and Quantum Mechanics, as well as Phase Integral Approximations and Diffraction Integrals, and the Monodromy Matrix, which is used in both classical and quantum mechanics.

NIST Handbook of Mathematical Functions
TLDR
This handbook results from a 10-year project conducted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology with an international group of expert authors and validators and is destined to replace its predecessor, the classic but long-outdated Handbook of Mathematical Functions, edited by Abramowitz and Stegun.
