Tunable diffraction grating using ultraviolet-light-induced spatial phase modulation in dual-frequency liquid crystal

An electrically tunable diffraction phase grating using ultraviolet (UV)-light-induced spatial dielectric modulation of a dual-frequency liquid crystal (DFLC) cell is demonstrated.
