The poly(L-glutamic acid)-paclitaxel (PG-TXL) conjugate has been shown to exhibit significantly greater antitumor activity than conventionally formulated paclitaxel (TXL) against solid tumors (Li et al., Cancer Res., 58: 2404-2409, 1998).
