  • Herein, we developed the photosensitizer, protoporphyrin IX (PpIX), conjugated glycol chitosan (GC) nanoparticles (PpIX-GC-NPs) as tumor-homing drug carriers with cellular on/off system for photodynamic imaging and therapy, simultaneously.
