SUMMARY Steroid cell tumor of the ovary is a rare malignancy originating from the stromal or sex cord and is potentially malignant. Most of these tumors produce steroid hormones testosterone being which arises frequently. We report a case of a patient 30 who showed signs of virilization associated with pelvic mass, ascites and increased testosterone. She was operated and subjected to ovarian cancer staging.
