The paper focuses on the propagation of tsunami waves in the Black Sea and their parameters. Two tsunamis observed by tide gauges in 1927 are discussed. The waves were generated by the underwater earthquakes in the continental slope area south of the Crimea. Tsunami characteristics have been categorized and scrutinized, using tide gauge data. The finite-difference evolutionary model has been realized, which allows description of the wave field's spatial structure and computation of mareograms…
