Triple Differential Cross Sections for Ionization of Metastable 3 P-State Hydrogen Atoms by Electrons

Triple differential cross sections (TDCS) for ionization of metastable 3P-state Hydrogen atoms by electrons have been calculated for various kinematic conditions in the asymmetric coplanar geometry using a multiple scattering theory of Das and Seal. The results are compared with the first Born results and existing hydrogenic ground state experimental data and those of other theoretical results.
