Children with nonsyndromatic isolated metopic suture synostosis suffer from a significant deformity of the supraorbital ridges, the temporal regions and hypotelorism. We retrospectively analyzed 54 consecutive cases of isolated nonsyndromatic metopic synostosis treated over a 14-year-period.
