PURPOSE The toxic effects and treatment of beta-adrenergic blocker and calcium-channel blocker (CCB) overdose are reviewed. SUMMARY Overdoses with cardiovascular drugs are associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Beta-blockers and CCBs represent the most important classes of cardiovascular drugs.
