PURPOSE To analyze cases with posttraumatic lenticular abscess and study the etiology, clinical presentation, management, and outcome. DESIGN Retrospective case series. METHODS Seventeen eyes of 17 patients with traumatic lenticular abscesses were managed with extracapsular cataract extraction after aspirating the abscess.
