Abstract Traumatic brain injury (TBI) can affect multiple domains of functioning, including physical health, psychological health, cognition, and socio-occupational life. Sleep–wake disturbances are among the most common consequences of TBI. They can be present even years postinjury, and they interact with other conditions linked to the brain injury such as cognitive deficits, psychopathology, pain, and chronic fatigue.
