La prescripción de benzbromarona queda restringida a “pacientes que no respondan o no toleren el tratamiento con alopurinol en alguna de estas 3 situaciones: gota severa (poliarticular o tofácea), hiperuricemia en pacientes con insuficiencia renal y aclaramiento de creatinina superior a 20 ml/min e hiperuricemia en pacientes con trasplante renal”.
