Transrectal ultrasound findings of prostate cancer mimicking primary rectal tumor.


Two patients with disseminated prostatic cancer underwent transrectal ultrasonographic examination. In the rectal wall, at the prostatic level, tumor infiltration was seen without obvious communication to the prostate.
