PURPOSE OF REVIEW Transoral robotic surgery (TORS) has seen substantial surge since its introduction in around 2007. Although initially described for cancer of the oropharynx, advances in robotic instrumentation and endoscopy have allowed for application of TORS toward laryngeal cancer.
