  • BackgroundThe incidence of Zenker’s diverticulum is low (2/100,000). Standard surgical treatment is cricopharyngeal myotomy with diverticulectomy. Various minimally invasive surgical approaches pursued recently have treated Zenker’s diverticulum adequately.
