OBJECTIVES The effectiveness of fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) for the diagnosis of neck, thyroid, and salivary gland masses is well documented. Very few reports explore the potential of an intraoral FNAB approach for the diagnosis of submucosal lesions.
