A technique is presented for determining the field in a series of cascaded, axisymmetric cylindrical cavities excited by a /spl phi/-independent source. The constituent cavities are either coaxial or circular-cylindrical. The field in each cavity is expressed in terms of the electric field in the apertures at the interfaces where adjacent cavities join.
