  • In this paper, we evaluate and optimize the performances of the ITU-R M.1225 Pedestrian B (Ped.B) channel model for a downlink (DL) mobile WiMAX system, starting from the requirements of certain multimedia services. The influence of parameters such as modulation, coding scheme and cyclic prefix (CP), was analyzed through simulations, in terms of the bit error rate (BER).
