A retrospective survey of young servicemen presenting with transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder aged 40 years or below is presented, 19 such patients having been identified over a 20-year period. The results were compared with those of other similar series. Prognosis of Transitional Cell Carcinoma of the Bladder in Patients 40 Years Old or Less: Comparison with Elderly Patients
TLDR
TCC of the bladder in patients 40 years old or less has a similar clinicopathological distribution and disease outcome to those observed in elderly patients, and it is suggested that the management and follow-up of TCC ofThe bladder in young patients should be the same.

Superficial Bladder Tumors in Patients under 40 Years of Age: Clinical, Prognostic and Cytogenetic Aspects
TLDR
Preliminary results of a study using fluorescent in situ hybridization with probes for the centromere of chromosomes 7 and 17 showed a high incidence of aneusomy with regard to these chromosomes and a genetic difference between superficial tumors in the young and in adults.
[Bladder tumor in young patients: a series of 26 cases. Comparison with a review of the literature].
TLDR
The natural history of superficial bladder tumours appears to differ according to age, before the age of 30 years, tumours are frequently stage Ta, well differentiated, with a low recurrence rate, and between the ages of 30 and 40 years, the course of superficial tumours is similar to that observed in older subjects.
Transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder in young adult patients
TLDR
Bladder TCC under 40 years of age usually presents as TaG1, but survival rates are high if follow-up and treatment protocols are followed and there may be bladder tumors in young adult patients regardless of age.
Urothelial Carcinoma of the Urinary Bladder in Young Adults: Presentation, Clinical behavior and Outcome

Bladder carcinoma in patients age 40 years or younger

Transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder in patients under 40 years of age.
TLDR
An analysis of 25 patients aged less than 40 years showed that the clinical course and prognosis were relatively benign and it is suggested that management and follow-up should be the same as in older patients with urothelial carcinoma.
