We study the time variation of the apparent flux of cosmological point sources due to the transient weak lensing by dark matter microhaloes. Assuming a transverse motion of microhaloes with respect to our line of sight, we derive the correspondence between the temporal power spectrum of the weak lensing magnification, and the spatial power spectrum of density on small scales. Considering different approximations for the small scale structure of dark matter, we predict the apparent magnitude of… Expand

Probing the dark universe with gravitational lensing
Since its early success as an experimental test of the theory of general relativity in 1919, gravitational lensing has come a long way and is firmly established as an indispensable element for manyExpand
Forward modelling of quasar light curves and the cosmological matter power spectrum on milliparsec scales
We devise an optimal method to measure the temporal power spectrum of the lensing and intrinsic fluctuations of multiply-imaged strongly lensed quasar light curves, along with the associated timeExpand
Primordial black hole detection through diffractive microlensing
Recent observations of the gravitational wave by LIGO motivates investigations for the existence of Primordial Black Holes (PBHs) as a candidate for the dark matter. We propose quasar gravitationalExpand
Clustering in the phase space of dark matter haloes – II. Stable clustering and dark matter annihilation
We present a model for the structure of the two-dimensional particle phase space average density (P 2 SAD) in galactic haloes, introduced recently as a novel measure of the clustering of dark matter.Expand
Universal clustering of dark matter in phase space
We have recently introduced a novel statistical measure of dark matter clustering in phase space, the particle phase space average density ($P^2SAD$). In a two-paper series, we studied the structureExpand
Modified initial power spectrum and too big to fail problem
The galactic scale challenges of dark matter such as "missing satellite" problem and "too big to fail" problem are the main caveats of standard model of cosmology. These challenges could be solvedExpand
Fingerprints of Anomalous Primordial Universe on the Abundance of Large Scale Structures
We study the predictions of anomalous inflationary models on the abundance of structures in large scale structure observations. The anomalous features encoded in primordial curvature perturbationExpand
Gravitational Grating
In this work, we study the interaction of the electromagnetic wave (EW) from a distant quasar with the gravitational wave (GW) sourced by the binary stars. While in the regime of geometric optics,Expand
Off-shell dark matter: a cosmological relic of quantum gravity
We study a novel proposal for the origin of cosmological cold dark matter (CDM) which is rooted in the quantum nature of spacetime. In this model, off-shell modes of quantum fields can exist inExpand
Gravitational probes of dark matter physics
The nature of dark matter is one of the most pressing questions in particle physics. Yet all our present knowledge of the dark sector to date comes from its gravitational interactions withExpand

The development of a standard model of cosmological structure formation over the last forty years must count as one of the great success stories in Physics. The model describes the geometry andExpand

We present an analytic model for the fully nonlinear two- and three-point correlation functions of the cosmological mass density field, and their Fourier transforms, the mass power spectrum andExpand
Modern Cosmology
The last five years have seen the coming of age of Modern Cosmology, a mature branch of science based on the Big Bang theory and the Inflationary Paradigm. In particular, we can now define ratherExpand
A new inflationary universe scenario: A possible solution of the horizon
In order to map the power distribution of a nuclear fuel element, a passive detector is laid along the fuel element in situ to record the residual radiation of the fuel element. The detectorExpand
Particle dark matter: Evidence, candidates and constraints
In this review article, we discuss the current status of particle dark matter, including experimental evidence and theoretical motivations. We discuss a wide array of candidates for particle darkExpand
Cosmology for Grand Unified Theories with Radiatively Induced Symmetry Breaking
The treatment of first-order phase transitions for standard grand unified theories is shown to break down for models with radiatively induced spontaneous symmetry breaking. It is argued that properExpand
