In this study we have investigated the ability of epidermal growth factor (EGF), platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), and transforming growth factor-beta (TGF beta) together with retinoic acid (RA) at saturating concentrations to induce phenotypic transformation of normal rat kidney (NRK) cells in a growth factor-defined medium.
