OBJECTIVE The objective of the investigation was to study placental transfer and conjugation of bisphenol A (BPA) across the human placenta. STUDY DESIGN Human placentae obtained from healthy term singleton pregnancies were utilized in a dual recirculating model of ex vivo placental perfusion.
