Apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.) is an important, nutritionally valuable agricultural crop. A scarcity of transcriptomic and genomic data hinders progress toward understanding the molecular events of apricot embryogenesis, which is the primary determinant of fruit yield and kernel quality.
