An emergent strategy for the transcriptome-wide study of protein-RNA interactions is CLIP-seq (crosslinking and immunoprecipitation followed by high-throughput sequencing). We combined CLIP-seq and mRNA-seq to identify direct RNA binding sites of eIF4AIII in human cells.
