4023 Background; Currently, in terms of treatment modalities of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), if surgery is not indicated, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is the most widely performed procedure. However, the results of TACE are not so satisfactory. The isotope of Holmium-166 emits 95% of beta ray, which is a high level of energy, and 5% of gamma ray.
