Outcomes:Death in hospital within 4 weeks of injury. Secondary outcomes included bleeding death; vascular occlusion death; vascular occlusive events (fatal and nonfatal myocardial infarction, stroke, pulmonary embolism, and deep venous thrombosis); surgical intervention (neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, and abdominal and pelvic surgery); transfusion; and serious, unexpected, and study treatment–related adverse events.
